Please review these Service Terms and Conditions carefully before renting any attire from Vim and Vigor. By choosing to rent garments through Vim and Vigor, you automatically accept and are bound by the following Service Terms and Conditions.

SERVICE TERMS & CONDITIONS

Rental Duration: The rental period is determined by the mutual agreement between you and Vim and Vigor. Failure to return items on time will result in additional charges.

Late Returns: If the garment is not sent back or returned within the next business day, a daily late fee of $20.00 will be incurred. For weekend rentals (Saturday and Sunday), the garment must be returned by Monday. For weekday rentals, the return date must be discussed and is subject to availability. When renting on a weekday, you should plan to return it the following day before noon. This policy applies to shipped orders, local orders, and postal try-ons.

Extended Delays: If the garment is not returned within three working days after the booking period, an additional charge equivalent to 100% of the rental fee will be imposed.

Lost or Unreturned Garments: Failure to return the garment will result in a charge of 100% of the retail value to cover the cost of a replacement. This also includes take-home try-ons and postal try- ons. The replacement cost will be determined by Vim and Vigor.

Responsibility for Care: Upon receiving the item, you are responsible for its care. By renting a garment through Vim and Vigor, you agree to handle the items with care to prevent unnecessary damage. You will be held responsible for loss, destruction, or damage to the goods due to theft, fire, significant stains, rips, disappearance, or any other events that render the product unusable, in accordance with our rental standards. Normal wear and tear is excluded.

Return Responsibility: You are also responsible for the timely return of the garment. If the garment is entrusted to a parent, sibling, or friend, and they fail to return it on time, late fees will apply. For postal orders not returned in our provided bags, they must be upgraded to an overnight shipping service, or a late fee of $20 will be applied. Ownership: Vim and Vigor Limited maintains legal ownership of the garment at all times.

Damages: Any damages to the garment will be the responsibility of the customer who caused them. Damage fees vary based on severity, material, and garment type. Repair fees are determined by Vim and Vigor in consultation with our tailors and are subject to change.

Severe Damage: If the returned garment exhibits damage beyond normal wear and tear, you authorize Vim and Vigor Limited to charge your credit card 100% of the product's original purchase value. This includes damage during try-on appointments and take-home try-ons. The product's recommended retail price (RRP) is stated in the product description. The damaged garment must be sent back to us for assessment. This is at Vim and Vigor Limited's discretion.

Incorrect Cleaning: Garments are not to be cleaned! If a customer attempts to clean the garment themselves, resulting in incorrect cleaning and fabric damage, a charge of $25.00 may be imposed. This is at Vim and Vigor’s discretion.

Refunds: Once Vim and Vigor dispatches the garment or it is picked up, no rental refunds will be provided. There will be no refunds for incorrect sizing or change of mind. For postal rentals, we ensure timely shipment, but we have no control once the garment is posted. We do not offer refunds for courier issues, including customer-requested address changes, redirections, or alternative postal services.

Customer Selection: Vim and Vigor assumes no responsibility for customer errors when selecting styles, sizes, patterns, and colors. Requests to amend orders can be considered within 24 hours of booking, but no guarantees are provided. Lost Postage Bag: If you lose or damage your pre-paid and addressed postage bag, you must send the garment back via New Zealand post through an overnight courier service. Our return address is 10 Kelliher Drive, Wanaka 9305.

Alterations: Unauthorized alterations may result in payment for damaged or replacement garments.

Unworn Garments: If a garment remains unworn after the rental period, no refunds will be issued.

Order Fulfillment: Upon order confirmation, we will fulfill the agreement by delivering the ordered garment in the correct style, size, pattern, and color to the requested address on the specified date. We take pride in the quality of our garments and services, thoroughly inspecting them after each rental to ensure they are clean, undamaged, and ready to wear. Any issues with the garment’s condition must be reported to Vim and Vigor within 3 hours of receiving it; otherwise, responsibility falls to the customer. Incorrect garment issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Single Use Agreement: This agreement pertains to renting from Vim and Vigor Limited and wearing the garment during the rental period. The garment is intended for single use and may not be worn by multiple people or for more than one event within the rental period. If we become aware of a situation where one rental has been worn by multiple individuals during a single rental period, the rental fee will be charged to the original customer accordingly.

Rental Fees: The rental fee for the products is as listed on the website at the time of your order submission. By submitting your order, you authorize us to charge your credit card for the rental fee, which will be processed immediately upon order submission.

Cancellation Policy: If you decide to cancel your rental, please contact Vim and Vigor directly. A credit may be issued at our discretion. Cancellations must be made at least 5 days prior to the rental period to be considered for a full refund; otherwise, less than 5 days prior to the rental period you will receive a $20 Refund.

Debt Collection: Vim and Vigor Limited reserves the right to take all necessary actions to collect any amounts due from you as outlined in this rental agreement, including legal action and/or using third- party collection agencies. All debt collection fees will be at your expense, and we hope to avoid using this option whenever possible.
