At Vim and Vigor, our refund policy is carefully crafted with both our valued customers and our business in mind. Please review and understand these policies before using our service.

Full Refund: To qualify for a full refund, you must contact us at least 5 days before your scheduled rental date.

Store Credit: If you contact us between the 5 days, you may be eligible for store credit. If your garment has already been shipped, you could receive store credit equal to the garment’s value, minus a $10 fee and shipping costs.

Garment Fit/Expectation: If the garment doesn’t fit, look right, or meet your expectations, refunds will not be granted. We offer local and postal try-ons to help you make an informed choice and prevent such situations.

Unworn Garments: If you decide not to wear your garment, please inform us before your event. To be eligible for store credit, you must return the garment to us. The credit will equal the garment’s value minus $10. If you notify us after your rental period has passed, we cannot offer a refund or credit. Rental companies rely on the ability to book garments, and if you hold a garment without using it and request a refund, we cannot recover the lost revenue from that period.

Garment Try-Ons: If you’re uncertain about how a garment will look on you, Wanaka-based individuals can book a complimentary try-on appointment. Unfortunately we don’t offer postal try-on service.

Garment Arrival Time/Courier Delays: Strictly no refunds will be provided in the event of delayed garment arrival or courier delays. We strongly recommend placing orders at least 3 business days in advance. Our shipping cut-off is 4:00 pm every Wednesday, and orders placed after this time are sent at the customer’s risk of not arriving on time. Courier delays are beyond our control, and we are unable to recover lost revenue from NZ Post. Please refer to our shipping page for further details.
